As patients, most of us have discovered some way to escape. We have found that place, deep within, where treatment doesn’t hurt……..where we don’t think about the future…..where we are safe for the moment.

Unfortunately, caregivers don’t have that luxury. Too often, they have the burden of watching us escape, while they remain behind to care for us, to suffer for us. They seldom complain - - they don’t have time. They seldom concentrate on themselves - - they don’t have the energy.

Do we thank them? Sometimes. Can we thank them enough? Not in this lifetime.

But this may be a start! Tell us your caregiver story. Let’s let all the caregivers know that even if we may not express it well, we appreciate all they do for us. We thank them.
